DATA DELETION INSTRUCTIONS
Delete local data or contact the right controller
The Keyway stores game progress locally and can synchronize selected iOS progress through the player’s private iCloud storage. Wreckanics does not operate a player-account backend. These instructions explain the relevant device, iCloud, Wreckanics, and Meta controls.
Delete local game data
Progress, settings, and hint state are stored by The Keyway in storage made available by the device, browser, or Facebook Instant Games environment. On iOS, selected progress can also be synchronized through the player’s private iCloud key-value storage. This game data is not sent to a Wreckanics player-account backend.
To delete it, use the storage controls in the browser, Facebook app, or device environment where you play. Where available, clear the site data, website data, or game storage associated with Facebook Instant Games or The Keyway. The exact control name and scope depend on that environment.
Clearing this storage can permanently erase local progress, settings, and hint state. If the environment offers only a broader clear-site-data or clear-app-data control, review its scope before confirming because it may sign you out or remove locally stored data for other sites or features. Removing a shortcut or access to the game may not clear the same storage.
Because Wreckanics does not receive or control local game data or the player’s private iCloud save, an email request to Wreckanics cannot remove it. Use the applicable device, browser, platform, or Apple iCloud storage controls. Deleting the iOS app removes its local data but does not necessarily delete its iCloud copy.
Request deletion from Wreckanics
Wreckanics may hold information only when you send it directly to us, such as an email address, support message, screenshots, or troubleshooting details included in an email.
To request deletion of information you sent directly to Wreckanics, email privacy@wreckanics.com. Identify the request as relating to The Keyway and provide only enough information to locate the earlier message. We may need to verify that the request is legitimate. We will handle the request as required by applicable law, and some records may be retained where the law permits or requires it.
Use Meta controls for Meta data
Meta controls the platform and account information, advertising data, and transaction records that Meta and participating providers process when you use Facebook Instant Games. Wreckanics does not control those records and cannot fulfill a request to delete them from Meta’s systems.
Use the privacy, information, advertising, payment, and account controls provided by Meta. Meta’s Accounts Center help explains where account settings are managed, and Meta’s Privacy Center provides information and privacy controls. The controls available to you can vary by account, device, and region.
Clearing The Keyway’s local storage, removing access to the game, or emailing Wreckanics does not by itself delete platform, advertising, or transaction information controlled by Meta or another participating provider.
